Our first meeting was extremely successful as Dr. Umar Johnson Nationally renown activist and school psychologist met with us and formed a coalition to move with a national agenda for African American School Reform Initiatives. Join us Wednesday November 13, 2013 @ BUFI, Black United Fund , 1803 East 71st street.

Are you a retired or interested teacher who would like to participate in a pilot program to help support the academic achievement of
students grades K-3?
The Teach for South Shore initiative is a community based grassroots initiative to help support the academic achievement of students in South Shore. ISBE/CPDU's will be given for teacher rectification for attending the training which will begin Monday , November 4, 2013. Second Meeting will be held NOVEMBER 13, 2013.
This program is a privately funded initiative and is looking for dedicated teachers who still have a desire to work with students on a part-time basis. This is an excellent  opportunity to give back to the children of the City of Chicago. Please  inbox me if you are interested in our program.
